About
Mosley Basketball Incorporated (MBI) is a non-profit organization founded in Baltimore City. The goal is to give back to the youth here in Baltimore and provide better opportunities. MBI will offer free tutoring program in an environment where they can study and complete homework, free basketball clinics that will develop their skills by teaching them fundamentals, teamwork, and building skills. MBI will also give opportunities for the youth to receive scholarships and provide a mentorship program to implement the skills learned into everyday lives. There is not enough outlets or guidance here for the youth in Baltimore City which contribute to the increase in underage drug and violence. By providing these resources the hope is it will get the youth off the street and into something positive.
We believe the youth can embrace who they are,
define their future, and change the world.
Our Mission
Is to provide a safe space for the youth, we plan to recruit as many children as possible. The goal is to achieve a 100% on-time graduation rate for all youth associated with MBI program. We will teach how to set both short and long-term goals academically, athletically, and for future endeavors. We will develop key milestones at the beginning of the year, with review periods mid-year and at the end of each school year. We will teach time management skills for balancing schoolwork and extracurricular activities to excel their basketball skills as individuals and members of a team. We will teach the importance of giving back to the community. We will develop a blueprint for each individual to become successful by offering hands on experiences through college tours.
