​Sean Mosley was born on March 14, 1989, in Baltimore, MD. Growing up he always had a passion for basketball. He begin playing basketball recreationally with the Mt. Royal Eagles prior to taking his talents to St. Frances Academy. While in high school, he became the second-leading scorer in Maryland with 2,933 points, 2-time Baltimore Catholic League Champion, 2008 Gatorade player of the year in Maryland, and inducted into The Baltimore Catholic League Hall of Fame. In 2008, he committed to University of Maryland College Park where he started as a freshman. During his college career Sean scored over 1,000 points and helped his team win the regular season ACC Championship in 2010. He continued his career playing overseas in Poland, Italy, Germany, Dubai, and France where he won another championship before his retirement.
